I have a Vegas Pro trial, and I want to make a MP4 from the project.

I have a Vegas Pro Trial, there is no way to make non-Vegas Pro project files, and I got the software just to edit MP4's and make them look better while still being in MP4 format while being able to get them on Youtube. Anyone know how to make MP4's with the trial version? That also means I have no rendering available.

Vegas Pro Trial Version: 15

Saving a project file, which is only a set of instructions, and rendering a video file are two different things.

Select "Make Movie" and choose an mp4 template. The Vegas interactive tutorial is there to guide you through the steps.

Note that now "Rendering with trial versions of VEGAS Pro is limited to projects of less than 2 minutes in length."

I know, but the video that I want to upload is one of those videos that only looks good in a length over 2 minutes.

Many trial software trial versions have limitations, especially in rendering/finalising a project; or limitations such as watermarks etc.

Stating the obvious ... to gain full functionality of Vegas Pro, you'll need to purchase the product. After all, that is the purpose of a trial version - to provide a taste of the product that the company hopes will end in a sale.

Sounds like you want free editing software.

Lightworks, daVinci, and Hitfilm Express are generally considered trustworthy.

I've heard Hitfilm Express is only good for FX, and Lightworks has a syncing issue with audio that I can't get rid of.

EDIT: I've now seen daVinci has "Professional Editing", so that will probably be too hard for me to use.

I only use free editing software. And if the editing software requires money for all features, trial version.

No. I'll make a new account at near the end of next month to continue with my trial.
